We are proud to announce Stafford Elementary made AYP!

Welcome to Stafford Elementary where our goal is to provide a high quality education for all of our students. Our teaching staff holds high expectations for the academic success of each child. We provide lessons aligned to the Virginia Standards of Learning in all core academic areas: language arts, math, science and history. We have an exemplary program in the areas of art, music, physical education and technology. Reading Textbook Adoption

Stafford County Public Schools will be reviewing various reading materials and kits for possible adoption by the Stafford County School Board. The different reading materials will be arriving at Stafford Elementary over the next few weeks and once they are all received, they will be available for the community to view. The kits are being displayed in Room 5 if you wish to come to look at them.  You can also view the materials at Alvin Bandy Central Office Complex in PDC room 16 or at England Run library.  Parents should feel free to come and view them at any time. We want to hear from you, so please fill out a rubic that is located near the textbooks. The committee plans to eliminate three of the six programs under consideration by January 18, and then come to a final decision on one program by March 5.  We invite you to come browse through the series and to fill out a rubric.  The final choice will then be presented to the Division Committee for approval on March 19. Purchase will be contingent on next year’s budget. The textbook committee meetings are open to the public, and the schedule can be found on the Stafford County fusion page under Instructional Programs: Textbook Adoptions. For more information, please contact Janice Brunson at 658-6000.
